Sandra Lynn "Sam" Sorbo (née Jenkins) is an American actress, author, and talk radio host. Jenkins is known for playing the role of Serena on the television series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, and her radio show The Sam Sorbo Radio Show is syndicated across America. In the TV series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Hercules falls in love with Serena, they get married, but her character dies under mysterious circumstances. Jenkins also starred as Dr. Caroline Eggert in the third season of Chicago Hope, and with Steve Buscemi in Twenty Bucks and Ed and His Dead Mother and had notable guest appearances as Mariah, the leader of the G. E. L. F. uprising in the Season 2 premiere and a later season 2 episode of seaQuest DSV, and alongside her husband as Dr. Sara Riley in two episodes of Andromeda. Under her married name, Sam Sorbo currently co-hosts Flashpoint Live, a weekly two-hour radio news magazine on Talk Radio Network
