He was slapped for real by his co-actor Malavika while shooting for a film called Apparao Driving School. Rajendra true to his playboy image, went too far while enacting an sensual act with the actress for the shoot and started biting her lips. This resulted in him getting slapped by the actress and a formal complaint was made to respective film associations over this sexual-harassment by the actor.[7][8]
