Nico Vascellari was born in 1976 in Vittorio Veneto, Italy. Currently lives and works in New York, USA and Vittorio Veneto, Italy. Nico Vascellari is an Italian artist coming out of a Punk scene. His work is a mix between performance art and sound exploration. He is represented by Monitor Gallery in Italy. He participated in Biennale Venice and Mantifesta 7. He recorded the soundtrack from Cosimo Alema's acclaimed film debut War Games: At the End of the Day in 2010. In 2012 he founded with Nicolo Fortuni Niños du Brasil, an electronic/batucada/noise band; to this day, they have released two studio albums: Muito N. D. B. in 2012 and Novos Mistérios in 2014
