Marie-Agnès Gillot is a ballet dancer and choreographer with the Paris Opera Ballet. Until starting at the Paris Opera Ballet School at age nine, she lived in Caen. She entered the company at age 15 and became étoile in 2004. She is the first in-house choreographer who is a woman to receive a commission from the Paris Opera Ballet
