Katherine Kelly is an English actress, best known for her role in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2001, Kelly began her career on stage. Her roles included, Eva in The Accrington Pals at the Chichester Festival Theatre and Bianca in Othello at the Manchester Royal Exchange. In 2006, she began playing Becky McDonald in the soap opera Coronation Street. She appeared for six years until her departure in 2012. For this role, she won Best Actress at the 2009 British Soap Awards and Best Serial Drama Performance at the 2012 National Television Awards. Her next role was on stage, playing Kate Hardcastle in She Stoops to Conquer at the National Theatre. Her other screen roles include, Lee Middleton in the BBC Four TV film Best Possible Taste: The Kenny Everett Story, Lady Mae Loxley in the ITV drama series Mr Selfridge, Claire Reid in the ITV miniseries The Guilty and Maloney in the BBC One drama The Field of Blood

Katherine Kelly is an English actress, best known for her role in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street.
