Jerry Warren was an American film director, producer, editor, screenwriter, cinematographer and actor. Warren was noted for his involvement in many cult films. He has been described as "one of cult film's most frustrating and maligned members. " Warren was married to cinematographer Brianne Murphy. Murphy worked with Warren on several of his pictures. They divorced shortly after filming completed on Teenage Zombies in 1959. On August 21, 1988, Warren died of lung cancer in Escondido, California. He was survived by his second wife, Gloria
