Ian McCrudden is an independent film director and writer represented by Silvermine Entertainment in Hollywood, California Variety praised Ian's film Islander for its "deeply felt performances” and "intimate, powerfully atmospheric” style. The Hollywood Reporter called the film "an intelligent and compelling drama. ” Ian studied at Stanford University, where he received the Golden Medal for writing. His production of Night Baseball was honored at the National College Theater Festival, and Stanford University Press published his thesis on Samuel Beckett. McCrudden has directed the films Cowboys & Indians, The Things We Carry, Äntligen midsommar, Islander, the documentary Anita O' Day: The Life of a Jazz Singer, Trespassers, The Big Day, Mr. Smith Gets a Hustler, and Trailer—The Movie. He also directs plays including the acclaimed "Patriotic Bitch" Off-Broadway in NYC
