Eiichi Kudo was a Japanese film director. He directed 30 films between 1956 and 1998. His 1982 film Yaju-deka was entered into the 33rd Berlin International Film Festival. His 1963 film The Thirteen Assassins was the basis for a 2010 remake by Takashi Miike
