Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela and son of two doctors, Hernández's passion for filmmaking began at age 11 with his sister's Hi8 camera. He is most known for producing, writing and hosting The Alejandro Hernández show, released in 2009. He attended the University of Zulia, where he studied Audiovisual Arts at the School of Scenic Arts
