Tijdens de laatste dagen van de Tweede Wereldoorlog wordt op het eiland Borneo een Australische legereenheid bijna geheel uitgemoord door een enkele Japanse Soldaat, Ichiro Yamamura (Koji Tamaki). Hij zit zo vol haat omdat hij zijn vrouw en kinderen heeft verloren bij bombardementen op Tokio. Daarom heeft hij besloten om zoveel mogelijk slachtoffers te maken voordat het eiland bevrijd wordt.
