Sigappu Rojakkal 2 is an upcoming Tamil thriller film directed by Manoj Bharathiraja, which is based on his father Bharathiraja's 1978 film of the same name. The film features newcomer Vishakan in the leading role, while G. V. Prakash Kumar composes the film's music. After beginning pre-production works since 2009, the film began its shoot in late 2014. The story revolves around a youngster who is affected to commit crimes after watching the original film featuring Kamal Haasan.
