The famous ballet company Béjart Ballet Lausanne (BBL) prepares for the premiere in the Paris Opera House. Two dance couples will perform on alternate evenings in the opening duet. One of the dancers is the American ballerina Kathleen Thielhelm, the central character in the movie. After nine years dancing in the Joffrey Ballet, she has just arrived to Europe and this show means a great chance for her.
