Lee Bowman was an American film and television actor. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Bowman graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1936 and began his film career playing a bit part in Swing High, Swing Low. His many film appearances include A Man to Remember, Love Affair, Third Finger, Left Hand, Design for Scandal, Buck Privates, Tonight and Every Night, Smash-Up: The Story of a Woman and Youngblood Hawke. Bowman also appeared regularly on television including several guest appearances in the television series Robert Montgomery Presents. Bowman hosted the short-lived game show What's Going On? on ABC in late 1954. In 1961 he co-starred with Rocky Graziano in the Private Eye series Miami Undercover. In his later career, Bowman was a pioneer in developing media training for the Republican leadership in Washington
